11. Steffy and Finn

Similarly, Steffy’s defense of Liam will trouble Finn over the coming weeks. He wasn’t there to see his fiancé’s reaction when she was first told of Liam’s arrest, but he’ll get a first-row seat for her active interest in Liam being vindicated. We still don’t know much about Finn, but we do know that he was eager for proof that Steffy was over Liam and ready to move forward with him. As Liam’s predicament becomes a steady concern for Steffy, old doubts will crop up for Finn.

10. Who Is Finn?

While Finn’s moodiness around Steffy’s feelings might provide a first wrinkle for this engaged couple, viewers can expect these two to encounter some waves over the coming months. Spoilers have promised some major storylines involving Finn’s birth mother, whose identity remains a mystery at the moment, as well as that hush-hush intel that Chief Deputy Baker hinted at, regarding Finn. The most glaring thing that implicates future drama with Finn is that he doesn’t have much of a past. Now that the happy couple is back on the canvas, we can expect that perfect fiancé veneer to start peeling off.

9. Double the Revelations

Now that Bill and Liam are behind bars — and the cover-up portion of this narrative is finished — it seems likely that the investigation will pivot away from the Spencers and focus on the true culprit(s) who left Vinny critically injured on the roadside. While Chief Deputy Baker will move at his typical pace, Justin Barber’s arrival should spearhead some new avenues. Between the two professionals, we can expect this murder mystery to broaden and build steam.

8. Will Vinny’s Girlfriend Please Stand Up?

The recent mention that Vinny had a girlfriend prior to his demise was surely a detail B&B will explore in the coming two weeks. Whoever this mystery woman is, we can expect both Chief Deputy Baker and Bill’s legal eagle to be on the lookout for her. What kind of insight can she provide into Vinny’s last days? Maybe she can also explain what he was doing outside that night, dressed all in black?

7. Gunning For Thomas

Is it possible that Vinny was waiting to ambush Thomas? After all, the former lab tech was none too pleased with his oldest friend after he’d been implicated for his involvement with Steffy’s paternity test mix-up. Given how close Vinny was to the Forrester estate, which doesn’t look like it is within walking distance to anywhere, it seems likely that his untimely passing interrupted a plot of some kind.

6. Thomas In Trouble

Thomas will continue to struggle over the coming two weeks. On one hand, he’s facing the hard truth that the woman he’s crazy about, Hope, is standing by Liam in spite of his cowardice. On the other hand, he’s going to find out that the friend he’s so desperate to avenge, Vinny, was possibly out to do him harm. For a guy who’s been teetering back and forth between the light and darkness, Thomas will be feeling cut off and deeply conflicted. All of this seems like foreshadowing toward Thomas’s next descent.

5. The Boys Get Out On Bail

Liam and Bill will catch a major break over the coming weeks when they receive bail — but it won’t come easy. The heavy price won’t just be paid monetarily, but physically, as spoilers hint that Liam and Bill might be on the receiving end of some jail-house violence. Justin will use this incident to his client’s advantage and arrange for a house-arrest. But even the relative comfort of being at home with an ankle bracelet won’t provide these two with much comfort from the fallout of the charges against them.

4. Liam and Thomas

Viewers were wondering what Liam was thinking when he asked Thomas (of all people) to look in on his wife and children. Over the coming weeks, Liam will realize the foolishness of his favor. When Liam gets out on bail, and Thomas is brushed aside with a thank you for his efforts, won’t that just exacerbate Thomas’s resentment toward his rival? Of course, that’s if the Forrester doesn’t succeed in creating havoc by the time Liam is freed.

3. Paris In a Pickle

The last time we saw Paris, she had overheard that it was Quinn who’d slept with Carter, not Shauna. By the time she caught up with her big sister, Zoe was over the moon about her re-engagement. So what will Paris do next? She’s finally in good standing with her impetuous sister, so does she tell her and risk blow-back? Or, does she try to arrange a situation in which Zoe discovers the truth for herself? Quinn will make an impassioned plea for Paris to keep quiet; perhaps she’ll also offer something in return for that silence.

2. Eric Is Alerted

A third option is that Paris will find a way to let Eric in on the truth. Given the Forrester’s recent misgivings about being able to trust his wife, a covert message about Quarter’s affair would certainly give Eric pause. The man isn’t an imbecile. As suddenly amazing as his love life is, Eric must sense that Quinn’s been laying it on extra thick about how he’s the only man for her, and so on, etc. Will her syrupy attitude and generous affections come under scrutiny once Eric walks in on Quarter during a strangely intense moment?

1. An Explosive Exit

A few weeks ago, this Quarter storyline felt like it was going to be placed on a shelf and saved for later. Quinn and Carter had vowed to focus on their primary relationships (to Eric and Zoe, respectively) and that was working out pretty well. But with Eric and Quinn acting like teenagers and Carter and Zoe re-engaged, the stakes have been raised for a visceral gut-punch revelation. As Kiara Barnes eyes her exit for prime time, Zoe will find out the truth in the coming weeks — and it will have drastic repercussions on several of L.A.’s finest.
