11 Hottest Female Soap Opera Stars

The women of daytime television are a unique breed: they can be heroines, villains, or even victims. They create drama, heat up the scene and some are powerful forces in the industry. They are strong females, who help make those love scenes hot and steamy, and one undeniable fact remains among them all: soap opera ladies are definitely sizzling. Not everyone can make the best of the best list when it comes to sexy female soap stars; however, below are the top eleven hottest female stars on the most popular daytime soap operas.

11. Arianne Zucker – Nicole Walker – Days of Our Lives

Arianne Zucker started her stint on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) in early 1998, and has been entertaining daytime audiences since. While Nicole Walker may have entered Salem as a sexy gold-digger, marrying the evil Victor Kiriakis for his money, and not necessarily his personality, her DOOL character has evolved over the years to show a softer side. Zucker has been nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards over the years (in 2010, 2013, and 2014), and was once married to a former DOOL cast mate, Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady Black). While they were on-again-off-again, the two divorced in 2014, but share a beautiful daughter together.

10. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood – Steffy Forrester – Bold and the Beautiful

As the offspring of Ridge and Taylor, it’s no wonder the producers of the Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) cast the sexy Jacqueline MacInnes Woods to play the villainous ‘Steffy.’ Thanks to SORAS (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome), Woods entered the role in 2008, and has been creating chaos within the land of B&B since. Woods has received two Daytime Emmy nominations in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress (in 2012 and 2013), and she is an active supporter of animal rescue organizations.

9. Kelly Monaco – Sam McCall – General Hospital

Currently embroiled in a love triangle on General Hospital (GH), Kelly Monaco took on the role of Sam McCall in late 2003. While she is best known for being the beautiful and smart McCall — fans may also remember her during her stint on the first season of ABC’s hit show, “Dancing With The Stars, when she won the mirror ball trophy in a somewhat controversial dance-off ending. She’s had minor roles in primetime shows like Spin City, Baywatch, and Late Last Night. But still, it was her role on GH’s spinoff show, Port Charles (PC), from 2000 to 2003, that landed her current McCall role. In PC, she played Livvie Locke, a character that was involved with a vampire.

8. Sharon Case – Sharon Newman – The Young and the Restless

No stranger to daytime drama, at the age of 44, Sharon Case hits this list with ease. She’s been heating up soap opera screens as Sharon Newman since 1994. It’s no surprise why all the Newman men seem so fascinated with Sharon. She’s beautiful, sexy, and plays that ‘damsel in distress’ role perfectly. Moreover, during her incredible 20-year stint with The Young and the Restless (Y&R), Sharon really has done it all, and seen it all — from socialite balls, to prison, to farming it up in rural small towns, and mental wards – Case has been able to take a sweet and innocent character, and truly evolve with her to a height even Y&R audiences didn’t see coming. Her talent really shows on-screen and Case was acknowledged by her peers in 1999 when she won a Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Supporting Actress.

7. Jen Lilley – Theresa Donovan – Days of Our Lives

There’s just something about a bad girl when it comes to soap operas, and Jen Lilley has the sexiness to really nail that role down. Since joining the cast of DOOL in 2013, her character Theresa Donovan has managed to get into the bad books of many in town (including Jennifer Horton, and the Victor Kiriakis), but has also managed to steal the heart of the handsome and charming, Brady Black. While she did start off as a manipulative villainess, perhaps motherhood has changed her as we see Donavon slowly moving toward a better path. Aside from her DOOL role, Lilley has had small stints on Hannah Montana, Victorious, Castle, Criminal Minds, and she played Maxie Jones for one year (2011 to 2012, 113 episodes) on GH.

6. Kirsten Storms – Maxie Jones – General Hospital

Speaking of, Kristen Storms has been entertaining GH fans since 2005, as Maxie Jones. Prior to that, she got her soap opera break in 1999, playing Belle Black on DOOL. Much like Storms, Maxie is incredibly beautiful, but often is known to make really bad decisions. Similar to one that Storms made in real-life. In the fall of 2007, she was pulled over by California Highway Patrol for throwing a cigarette out of the window of her car; she then failed sobriety tests, and was arrested for a DUI.  She’s cleaned up her act significantly since, and that incident seems like worlds away for Storm, who now lives in LA, with GH cast mate and hubby, Brandon Barash (Johnny Zacchara), and their beautiful little daughter.

5. Heather Tom –  Katie Logan – Bold and the Beautiful

Another soap opera veteran, at age 40, Heather Tom still has what it takes to make the sexiest list, and proves this daily, as her portrayal of Katie Logan on the B&B. Tom started off in soaps at the age of sixteen, playing the coveted role of million-dollar princess, Victoria Newman on Y&R in 1991. Moving on to the B&B in 2007, Tom has accumulated six Daytime Emmys over her soap opera acting career: three during her Y&R stint, and three with the B&B. Proving she is not only sexy, but extremely talented too!

4. Sofia Pernas – Marisa Sierras – The Young and the Restless

Y&R newcomer, Sofia Pernas proves that a little mystery can add to anyone’s sex appeal. While she joined Y&R in the summer of 2015, she already has won the hearts of two characters, as Noah Newman and Luca Santori continue to fight for her attention and affection. Marisa loves gaming and reading in her spare time. No matter how hectic her life gets, she also ensures to make time for her one true love: her doggy, Tala, a wolf-malamute mix.

3. Kristian Alfonso – Hope Williams – Days of Our Lives

Kristian Alfonso has been wowing DOOL audiences since 1983, playing heroine Hope Williams; a sweet, yet stubborn leading lady, who rarely backs and down, and never gives up. She’s taken on a lot in the over thirty years of being on the soap: battling Stefano DiMera, her past demons, as well as Salem’s worst criminals. In the end, Hope is not only beautiful, but a perfectly evolved character who proves that men aren’t the only ones who can save the day on soap operas. In 1999, she won the Soap Opera Award for Hottest Female Star, and has also had various roles in primetime television, including Falcon Crest, Full House, Melrose Place, and Baywatch.

2. Melissa Claire Egan – Chelsea Lawson – The Young and the Restless

Playing con-artist, turned Genoa City’s sweetheart, everyone seems to love Chelsea Lawson even the shrewd Victor Newman. Joining the Y&R cast in 2011, Chelsea has evolved into the perfect daytime heroine: she’s smart, career-driven, has a heart of gold, and is incredibly sexy. She’s turned the heads of so many of her leading men over the years, including Dylan McAvoy, Billy Abbott, Adam Newman, and it seems as of late, something is blossoming in the air between her and Nick. She is also turning heads within the daytime industry as well, earning Best Supporting Actress nominations for Daytime Emmys in 2009, as well as four consecutive nods from 2011 to 2014.

1. Emme Rylan – Lulu Spencer Falconeri – General Hospital

It’s never easy stepping into the shoes of an established soap opera character; however, Emme Rylan has done just that — and done it successfully — twice in her career. Some may remember her as Abby Newman, from the Y&R, a character she played from 2010 to 2013. While she was let go due to budgetary cuts, fans were shocked to see Rylan emerge on the set of GH in early 2013, replacing fan-favorite, Julie Marie Berman. However, the sexy Rylan has simply hit the ball out of the park with her portrayal of the feisty and street-smart Lulu. She has managed to re-ignite a tremendous spark with onscreen hubby Dante, as well as turning heads of ex-loves Johnny Zacchara, and Dillon Quartermaine. While the two are experiencing some marital issues, and a pending divorce, it will hopefully be short-lived. Who could resist Lulu’s charm, and appeal? It’s only a matter of time for Dante and Lulu to rekindle their love affair.
