A source close to Heard claims that none of that is true and that she was close to Depp’s mom. “Amber was by Betty Sue’s side during this illness,” a source told People. “And regularly visited her in the hospital.”

Prior to their wedding, Heard got cold feet. “Before Amber met Johnny she was just a regular super cool hipster chick living with roommates who dated girls. At their engagement party she kind of got cold feet… she was just like what is this scene and what am I doing here? She kind of couldn’t believe it was her life now,” a source told People. Heard is reportedly the reason why their wedding plans were put on hold for a year.

She had pictures showing various bruises that he inflicted on her throughout their marriage. According to Page Six, during one of their fights, Depp injured his hand punching a wall. He was in Australia at the time filming the fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and had to be flown back to the U.S. for surgery, which delayed filming for more than a month.
