7 Co-Stars Who Are Best Friends In Real Life

Hollywood is a great place to make friends – just ask these super close co-stars! They met on set many, many moons ago and, while some of them didn’t necessarily start out as friends, many of them did. All those long hours, working in close quarters really brought them together. Whenever life gets tough, these co-stars-turned-friends are really there for each other. Many of these celebs can count on each through thick and thin. A lot of celebrity relationships don’t last as long as these ones. Here is Fame10’s list of celebrity co-stars who are best friends in real life!

7. Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox met on the set of “Friends” and they have been great friends ever since. These two have been there for each other through thick and then. According to former wife of Brad Pitt, her friendship with her former co-star is the real deal. “I’ve slept in her guest bedroom a lot. Without giving away too much of my private stuff, all I can say is she’s been there for me through thick and thin,” she told More magazine. “There’s absolutely no judgment in Court. You’ll never feel scolded. She’s extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving.”

Their friendship is just as strong today. Cox’s fiancé actually proposed to her at Aniston’s house. The “Cake” star had been throwing a birthday party for her friend’s daughter, Coco, when Johnny McDaid asked for her hand. These former co-stars have already made it through two decades of friendship, so we think they have what it takes to make it through two more!

6. Seth Rogen and James Franco

Seth Rogen and James Franco met on the set of the cult NCB series “Freaks and Geeks.” Although they weren’t initially friends and went a number of years without even speaking, they became friends years later when they co-starred in the comedy “Pineapple Express.” Since then, they have been close friends and have gone on to co-star in a number of movies together, including “This Is the End” and “The Interview.”

That isn’t all they have done together. They also co-starred in a parody of Kanye West’s music video for “Bound 2.” Instead of seeing a naked Kim Kardashian riding a motorcycle with West, we see Rogen posing as the reality star and Franco pretending that he is the controversial rapper. Their version was definitely more entertaining than the original. These two seem to share the same sense of humor, which can only mean one thing – that they are in for a lifelong friendship.

5. Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas met on the set of “Camp Rock.” At one point, she was dating his brother Joe, but that didn’t work out. Even though she is still friends with all of the Jonas brothers, she’s closest with Nick. “I’m cool with all of them. I’m really cool with all of them, but Nick is one of my really, really, really good friends. We don’t get to see each other often but [when we do] it’s so much fun,” she said.

These two even recorded a duet together, “Avalanche,” for Nick’s solo album. “We did one for my record,” he said. “It’s a great song that we both love. Her voice is just amazing on it. She’s the real deal. It’s the perfect fit for this record.” These two seem to really enjoy collaborating together. Nick even performed with Demi during the opening night of her Neon Light’s tour last year.

4. Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale – who met on the set of “High School Musical” – are so close that they are like family. “She’s like my family. She’s like my sister. We grew up together,” Tisdale told Yahoo. “Doing a franchise, you become a family with everybody in that cast. It’s hard to explain, because it’s a bond between all of us.”

These two are so close that Hudgens was one of Tisdale’s bridesmaids at her wedding to musician Christopher French. When asked about the wedding and her friendship with her old co-star, the “Sucker Punch” star had nothing but sweet things to say. “She looked like an angel. She’s so beautiful and she just glowed,” she said. “We just like having a good time. We’ve known each other for so long. We’ve been through so much together that I just know that she’s going to be in my life forever.” We think these two really are BFFs!

3. Donald Faison and Zach Braff

Donald Faison and Zach Braff – who played a pair of best friends on the set of the television show “Scrubs” – are really close off-screen as well. Their friendship has been well documented. We’ve seen pictures of them snuggling in the pool and singing Christmas carols together. Braff even let his good pal get married at his house. Now that is a solid friendship!

When “Scrubs” wrapped up its eighth season, Faison talked about his friendship with Braff with People magazine. “It’s very rare. Zach and I are both very lucky. I think our bromance is probably one of the strongest in Hollywood. At least I can say ours is real,” he said. “I genuinely like hanging out with the dude, and I feel like he genuinely likes hanging out with me. We have the same sense of humor. I think that’s why we’re so close. We laugh at the same jokes.” We think these two will still be close in another ten years – at least!

2. Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore

Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore had known each other for years before they both starred in “Charlie’s Angels;” however, it was on that set that they became really good friends. Even after all these years, these two are still close. Barrymore was a bridesmaid at Diaz’s wedding to Benji Madden and the “There’s Something About Mary” star defended her friend when an interviewer made a snarky remark about the former child star’s substance abuse issues. These two definitely have one of Hollywood’s most enduring friendships.

Barrymore has spoken up in the past about her friendship with Diaz. “Cameron Diaz is one of the greatest friend anyone can ever have. She has so much love to give. We also support each other through the bad times. I’ve always felt like she’s my big sister, but at the same time I know that sometimes I’m wiser and a bit less naive than she is. We just spend so much time having fun and laughing together. That’s what true friendship is about,” she said.

1. Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips

Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips have been best friends for years. They became friends back in the day when they were both on “Dawson’s Creek” and they have remained close ever since. During the 2012 award season, when Williams was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in “My Week with Marilyn,” her former co-star showed her support by attending all of the awards events with her.

To this day, Phillips still publicly shows support for her very talented friend. When the “Blue Valentine” star made her debut on Broadway in “Cabaret,” Phillips showed everyone how close they still are on Instagram. She posted a picture of them together after one of the shows with the caption, “You need to go see Cabaret if you’re in New York because MY BEST FRIEND KILLED IT.” These two might be really low key, but their friendship is one of those things they can’t really hide!
