Even though supermodels have so many advantages – beauty, wealth and influence – it doesn’t make them model citizens. In fact, many of them end up caught up in some pretty big scandals as a result! We have created a list of the top 10 forgotten supermodel scandals that rocked the world!

10. Lara Stone’s Rehab Stint

Lara Stone – the curvaceous model who seems to have it all – went to rehab back in 2009 to overcome an alcohol addiction. The supermodel claims that she would become violent when she was drunk, slapping bouncers, doormen and ex boyfriends. Her addiction got so bad that she would wake up shaking with withdrawal symptoms, which she remedied with drinks that she always kept in her bag.

9. Karen Mulder’s Suicide Attempt

Karen Mulder was one of the world’s leading supermodels; however, the pressures of fame were too much for and, over the years, she’s suffered numerous setbacks, including failed suicide attempts. Mulder has accused her father, model executives and Prince Albert of Monaco of sexual abuse and, in 2002, she overdosed on sleeping pills and went into a coma. In 2009, this troubled supermodel was arrested for threatening her plastic surgeon.

8. Cara Delevingne’s Coke Scandal

Cara Delevigne – who has been dubbed the new Kate Moss – dropped a suspicious looking bag of white powder outside her front door in front of photographers back in 2013. Although the media believes the bag contained cocaine, the model – who has a reputation for loving the nightlife with heavyweights like Rihanna – has refused to comment.

7. Elizabeth Hurley, Hugh Grant and A Prostitute

Back in the ‘90s, Elizabeth Hurley and Hugh Grant were one hot couple! Unfortunately, their love life came under scrutiny in 1995 when Grant was caught soliciting services from a prostitute in broad daylight in L.A. Hurley stood by her man and the couple went on to date for another five years!

6. Naomi Campbell and The Blood Diamond Scandal

In 2010, Naomi Campbell was forced to testify at the war crimes trial against former Liberian president Charles Taylor. Back in 1997, the supermodel met Taylor and received diamonds from him after the two had flirted. Campbell had been threatened with jail time unless she appeared at the hearing to give evidence against Taylor, who was accused of selling diamonds to buy weapons in Sierra Leone’s civil war.

5. Heidi Klum, Flavio Briatore and Seal

When Heidi Klum first began dating Seal back in 2004, she was pregnant with Flavio Briatore’s child! At one point, Seal even hinted that he may want a paternity test to determine the child’s father!

Naomi Campbell has been accused of committing acts of violence against her employees, associates and, in one instance, police officers! The supermodel has been accused of abusing three different employees with mobile phones and, in 2008, Campbell assaulted two police officers at London Heathrow Airport after her luggage had been lost. Consequently, the supermodel has been banned from British Airways for life.

2. Linda Evangelista’s Love Child with Francois-Henri Pinault

Francois-Henri Penault – Selma Hayek’s baby daddy – also fathered a child with Linda Evangelista! Although the supermodel initially refused to name her son’s biological father, in 2011, she filed court papers revealing that Pinault, who was currently with Hayek, was the father. A child support trial ensued with Evangelista demanding $46,000 in child support payments; however, after several days, the former couple reached an out-of-court settlement.
