Love is in the air! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went public with their engagement last week after a year and a half of dating.
Hours after the Clarence House announced their engagement, Harry and Suits actress, Meghan posed for a photo op in Kensington Palace’s Sunken Gardens, which was one of Princess Diana’s favorite spots. This gave the bride-to-be ample time to show off her stunning engagement ring and reveal to photographers that she was feeling, “so happy.”
Later on, in their first ever joint interview conducted by BBC News, the couple began revealing all kinds of details about their relationship, including what the late Princess Diana would have thought about Meghan Markle. According to Harry, she would have given her stamp of approval! “They would be thick as thieves. Without question, she would just be over the moon!” he said.
While no specific date has been revealed, Kensington Palace released an official statement that the wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in May 2018.
This will be the first marriage for Prince Harry and the second for Meghan, who was previously married to director Trevor Engelson.
