The Daytime Emmy Awards took place this past Sunday, May 5th and brought together some of daytime television’s most talented stars. The event was co-hosted by Sheryl Underwood of The Talk alongside Mario Lopez. The event was filled with more than a handful of memorable fashion moments, but there were also, admittedly, quite a few letdowns. Follow along as we rank all the red carpet looks from the 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards:

18. Missed The Mark: Kate Mansi

Days Of Our Lives star Kate Mansi stepped out at this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards wearing quite the interesting ensemble. We have to admit we weren’t the biggest fans of this print! A pattern like this feels more appropriate on a painting or piece of art rather than a red carpet dress.

17. Nailed It: Giada De Laurentiis

Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis stepped out at the 2019 Daytime Ammy awards wearing an adorable white romper this year! Typically we would prefer to see formal dresses for a red carpet, but since the Daytime Emmys are a little more casual, we can definitely appreciate something different like a romper. We love how bold the colorful beading looks embellished on an all-white ensemble.

16. Missed The Mark: Mishael Morgan

We were quite puzzled by Mishael Morgan’s look for this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards. As much as we love unique red carpet ensembles, this look simply missed the mark. The textured skirt seemed to overwhelm the look rather than appear as an interesting and unique detail like we’re sure Morgan had intended.

15. Nailed It: Kellie Pickler

Kellie Pickler looked absolutely radiant at the Daytime Emmys this year wearing this sage green pleated dress. The soft shade of green worked wonderfully with her blonde tresses and light eyes!

14. Missed The Mark: Kristian Alfonso

Days Of Our Lives star Kristian Alfonso opted for a velvet suit rather than a dress at this year’s Daytime Emmy awards. While we actually really love the suit itself, we can’t say the same about the fuschia blouse she paired under it which felt a little stifling.

13. Nailed It: Melissa Reeves

Days Of Our Lives actress Melissa Reeves stepped out at the 2019 Daytime Emmys this year wearing a black and white floral dress. We are actually huge fans of the combination of monochrome with florals, which is a look you don’t often see. It feels both feminine and sophisticated!

12. Missed The Mark: Kiara Barnes

Kiara Barnes stepped out at the 2019 Daytime Emmy awards wearing a floor-length black gown with red floral embellishment on the bodice. While we wouldn’t mind a look like this in the fall or winter as much, it just felt quite heavy and dark for an early May event right around the brink of springtime.

11. Nailed It: Olivia Rose Keegan

Olivia Rose Keegan was a total bombshell at this year’s Daytime Emmy awards where she stepped out wearing a red tulle gown. The look was flowy and airy but also glamorous with the full skirt and rich color.

10. Missed The Mark: Sunny Hostin

Sunny Hostin walked the Daytime Emmys red carpet wearing a look we weren’t totally on board with. The dress seemed to have every type of flower you could imagine throughout it, which ended up looking overly chaotic and busy.

9. Nailed It: Briana Henry

Briana Henry looked absolutely radiant at the 2019 Emmys where she donned a ballerina-inspired pale pink tulle dress. We absolutely love the combination of red and pink, which was totally unique but worked fabulously.

8. Missed The Mark: Sharon Osborne

Sharon Osborne stepped out at the 2019 Emmy awards this year wearing a black satin suit that we weren’t overly impressed with. While we love the idea of a luxe satin suit, the oversized wide-leg trousers really detracted from the look and drowned her petite frame.

7. Nailed It: Carrie Ann Inaba

Dancing with the Stars judge and The Talk host Carrie Ann Inaba stepped out at the 2019 Emmy awards wearing a striking metallic dress. We absolutely love how glamorous all the pleating and draping of this dress feels!

6. Missed The Mark: Eve

Eve stepped out at the 2019 Daytime Emmy awards wearing a shocking indigo-colored tulle dress that we admittedly felt overwhelmed by. The dramatic shape of the dress seemed more suited for the Met Gala or a more experimental red carpet event.

5. Nailed It: Linsey Godfrey

Days of Our Lives actress Linsey Godfrey donned a striking scarlet dress at the Daytime Emmys this year. The smooth, satin texture of this look felt really glamorous and the cape sleeves, plunging neckline and minimalist black belt really pulled the look together.

4. Missed The Mark: Carolyn Hennesy

General Hospital star Carolyn Hennesy had an unfortunate fashion miss at the Daytime Emmy awards this year. The look featured layered mismatched material wrapped around the skirt that felt more bizarre than it did unique.

3. Nailed It: Sharon Carpenter

Sharon Carpenter stole the show at the 40th annual Emmy awards where she walked the red carpet wearing this delicate peach pleated dress. The fanned out neckline of this look truly made it unlike anything we’ve seen before, which is exactly why we were such big fans!

2. Missed The Mark: Lauren Koslow

Days of our Lives star Lauren Koslow stepped out for this year’s Daytime Emmy awards wearing a look that made quite a few jaws drop, but unfortunately not for the right reasons! From the dramatic and unnecessary bow to the clashing prints, we were totally confused by this red carpet ensemble.

1. Nailed It: Jacqueline MacInnes

The Bold and the Beautiful actress Jacqueline MacInnes stepped out in a gorgeous black dress that had all eyes on her for this year’s Daytime Emmy awards. We absolutely the sleek and sophisticated shape of this look which fit her like a glove and flattered her curves perfectly.
