TLC’s popular show Counting On has been canceled after 11 seasons.
TLC confirmed on Tuesday that the long-running series would be officially ending and the network would no longer be working with the Duggar family in light of Josh Duggar‘s April arrest.
“TLC will not be producing additional seasons of Counting On,” the statement reads. “TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately.”
In 2015, a controversy came to light surrounding Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s eldest son, Josh Duggar, which caused 19 Kids and Counting to be canceled in July after nine seasons on the air. Counting On, which did not include Josh Duggar, aired shortly after as a Duggar family spinoff.
Josh Duggar was arrested in Arkansas this past April on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. He virtually attended a hearing one day later.
TLC previously addressed Josh’s arrest following his initial hearing. “TLC is saddened to learn about the continued troubles involving Josh Duggar,” the network said in a statement. “19 Kids and Counting has not aired since 2015. TLC canceled the show on the heels of prior allegations against Josh Duggar and he has not appeared on air since then.”
