12. Will Chance Chancellor Ever Return?

A worried Abby and Nina will reach out to Christine this summer, asking her to locate Chance. Will Christine accommodate this request? Sounds like they’ll put Mrs. Williams in a bad position. Besides, even if Christine looks into it, what will she find? Will Chance return to the canvas this summer? There’s a good chance (pun intended) that Chancellor is missing in action, on account of his mysterious mission. This could prolong his absence, which would only thicken the plot. Abby will spend the rest of the summer grieving his loss, then move on to another by the fall. By 2022, Chance could return.

11. Mariah’s Epiphany

Surrogacy isn’t for the weak, and carrying a baby is not easy. Could Mariah realize she never wants to do this again? What if Tessa has a medical condition which prevents her from carrying a child to full term? If Mariah declares she “never” wants to do anything like this again, it might place a wedge in their relationship. All this baby talk could have Tessa wanting a child sooner, rather than later. If she realizes that Mariah doesn’t want to carry a baby ever again, she could move on to someone who wants this.

10. Mariah Loses The Child

What if Mariah has this epiphany about surrogacy, and then loses the child in the early weeks of summer? By the time she recovers, Abby may want to give fertility treatments another go, and Copeland will struggle with the idea of saying “no” to her. Especially if she finds out Chance has gone missing in action.

9. Shey Wants Babies

What if Sharon and Rey decide to expand their family? What if they both realize a child could truly bring them together? They may decide adoption is the way to go. After all, they’d be helping a child who is in need. Shey has been through a lot, and are on the same page right now; however, Adam could place a wrench in their plans.

8. Shadam Can’t Help Themselves

Y&R spoilers state that while Adam is trying his best to move on from his past, he and Sharon will find out that resisting their connection is a challenging task. Could they cross a line? What if Sharon ends up expecting after their affair? Could the baby’s father be in question? This isn’t the first time Sharon has walked down this road.

7. Amanda Digs Up The Truth

Amanda Sinclair is desperately trying to figure out who’s behind her bio father’s murder. What if Naya is the one who did the terrible deed? If Richard was looking for his child, she may have wanted to stop him before he got any further. Then, there’s the idea that Imani’s dad is behind it all. In an effort to protect Naya, he may have crossed a line. Either way, the truth will complicate Amanda’s impending relationship with her sister and mom.

6. Imani’s Interested

Y&R fans that have tuned in this week can already see that Imani’s quite smitten with Nate Hastings. Who could blame her? He’s smart, sweet and handsome! As the good doctor and Elena navigate through their complicated past, Imani’s interest in Nate will create an interesting dynamic. She’ll either help Hastings forget about Elena for good, or help him realize that she’s the one.

5. Chelsea Exits

With actress Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) expecting her first child, Chelsea’s sure to exit storylines sometime in the summer. How will she go about doing so? She’ll likely slip out of the facility without anyone realizing what she’s done until it’s too late. She’ll head for Connor, take him out of school, and the two will be on the run this summer. They’ll surface at some point in the fall when Egan’s ready to return to work.

4. The Abbott Kids and Lily

Y&R spoilers hint that Lily will try to establish a relationship with Johnny and Katie over the weeks and summer months ahead. The two have always been fond of Winters; however, she’s no longer daddy’s “friend” now that they are living together. Could conflicting discipline practices between Lily, Billy and Victoria cause the two Abbott kids to start hating on dad’s new girlfriend? This could put a strain on their romance.

3. Sally’s Revenge Plan

Sally is set to unleash a plan of revenge on Summer, and this fiery redhead won’t stop until she’s completely ruined her nemesis’s life. What kind of revenge tactic will Spectra unleash? One that will break up Skyle, for good! She may decide to partner up with Tara Locke to achieve this. She could convince Tara that keeping her son away from Ashland means hooking up with her baby daddy. Tara and Kyle getting closer could push Summer out of the picture and away from Genoa City, possibly forever.

2. Tara and Jack

But Tara Locke seems like a woman with a more mature taste in men. Could Sally’s plan backfire on her? Tara and Jack have been getting closer, and Jack seems far more like Tara’s “type” than Kyle. Tara may agree to Sally’s plan, but catch feelings for Harrison’s grandfather in the process. Sounds like the kid may need a ton of therapy once all is said and done!

1. Victoria’s Nightmare

Victoria’s been in an unhealthy relationship before, so she should see the signs that Ashland Locke is not good. With that said, it’s been far too long since she’s experienced any romance, so despite all the “red flags” the Locke-Ness Monster brings, she’ll brush them aside and dive right in. As the summer progresses, Ashland’s controlling qualities might resurface. Will Victoria find herself in another situation that resembles the one she was in with J.T.? It’ll be like waking up from a bad dream into a nightmare.
