13. Nikki Gets Involved, Nikki Gets Burned

Y&R spoilers imply that Nikki will get worried about the rift between her children this week, and it seems as if she’ll get involved. What could end up happening is that both siblings may end up resenting her when all is said and done. Nick will feel as if she’s taking Vicky’s side and vice versa.

12. Phyllis Gets Ammunition

Meanwhile, Phyllis will gain access to the ammunition she needs against Victoria, and as she “encourages” Kevin to hand over the goods this week, she’ll get exactly what she wants. With that said, she will sit on the information, wondering exactly what her next move should be. She may even have second thoughts around pushing the button on this.

11. Nick Eggs Phyllis On Without Realizing What She Has

Vicky will probably do something small to Nick this week, which will bother him to no end. Y&R spoilers reveal that Nick will encourage Phyllis to “get” Victoria “back;” however, there’s a good chance he won’t know exactly what she has up her sleeve. She could push the button on this plan, and everything could blow up in her face.

10. Summer’s Scheming Sets Sally Off

Summer’s digging mission to L.A. will be successful; however, the entire plan could cause Sally to ramp her efforts up against Summer. Does Newman know who she is dealing with? By going on the offensive with Spectra, Summer will essentially launch a rivalry she may not be prepared for. This is the start of something massive between these two ladies.

9. Sally and Jack Continue To Get Closer

Sally and Jack are sure to get that much closer in the coming weeks. They have a cute friendship going, but could there be more to this? Regardless of whether or not this relationship turns romantic, with every conversation, Jack Abbott is becoming that much more of an ally for Sally Spectra. She’ll use this to her advantage in the coming weeks and months ahead. He’s a fan.

8. Devon Let’s Go

Devon and Elena had a nice conversation recently, and it seems like Devon is finally letting go of all the animosity he had over her one-night stand with Nate. The two were civil, and this could mean that Devon will decide to bury the hatchet with his cousin, Nate, as well. Here’s hoping this will happen in the coming days.

7. Amanda Learns More About Her Dad

Y&R spoilers hint that Amanda will be “stunned” this week with what her bio mom has to tell her about the past. Could this new information be about Sinclair’s bio dad? Little has been said about who Hilary and Amanda’s father could be. Naya may come out and reveal a name, or hint around a powerful family her dad is attached to.

6. Connections To Genoa City?

Could Hilary and Amanda’s bio dad be linked to Genoa City somehow? There are quite a few affluent families in the little town, and the Abbotts and Chancellors have long-standing histories on the show. With that said, while the Moustache debuted in Genoa City in 1980, and Hilary and Amanda were born in-and-around the mid-to-late 80s, there’s still a chance he could be linked to Naya. This is a soap opera after all, and there are always ways to “rewrite” history.

5. Not Overly Prominent

Then there’s the idea that Hilary and Amanda’s dad isn’t part of an affluent family, but rather he is someone who isn’t prominent or has wealth. That’s why Naya was forced to give up the twins, rather than just marry her lover and build a family with him. If he was part of a rich family, both families may have coerced the couple into getting hitched.

4. Lily Has Second Thoughts About Billy

Across town, could Lily be having major second thoughts about her relationship with Billy? She’s already begun to, and it’s easy to see why. His firecracker attitude is something that can be considered attractive, but mix business and pleasure, and this can cause a relationship to go downhill. Bi-Li are headed down a rocky road in the next couple of weeks as they iron out the kinks to their romance and business partnership.

3. Nick and Sharon Deal With Faith

Sharon and Nick will decide about Faith in the next couple of weeks, as her drinking continues to spiral. Do they send her to live with Nikki for a bit? Y&R spoilers for January do hint that Nikki will get more involved with Faith and her drinking problem. Then, there’s the idea that they try and ban Jordan from Faith’s life, but will that make her situation better, or worse?

2. Sparks Fly Between Adam and Sharon

Speaking of Sharon, she’ll be there to support Adam this week, but will sparks fly between these two? There’s nothing harder for Sharon to resist than a vulnerable Adam, and there’s a good chance the two could cross a line. Victor will confront Sharon about something during the week of January 18th, so could Sharon and Adam engage in a one-night stand in the coming days? Emotions could run high and the two could get swept up in something.

1. Chelsea Hits A Wall

Y&R spoilers for the week of January 18th imply that Chelsea’s rehab will hit a wall. Is this because Chelsea learns about Sharon and Adam’s affair, or is her nurse or doctor purposely sabotaging her recovery? If she gets better, they could be out of a job, and with Lawson unable to communicate, they could be keeping her down to keep a paycheck. There’s also the idea that she’s feeling too pressured by Adam to recover successfully. She needs to take it one step at a time, and not rush things. She can hear and understand everything, so she may be frustrated that she can’t “heal” fast enough for Adam’s liking.
