What does Victor have up his sleeve for Billy and Lily over the next two weeks? Who will Nick argue with over the coming days? What stunning news will Christine have for Abby? There’s nothing Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans love more than speculating on storylines! As such, below are some Y&R plotline predictions for October 18th to October 29th, 2021.

12. Victor’s Special Gift

The wedding festivities will continue to roll on during the week of October 18th! Victor will have a unique gift for Ash and Vic during the reception; however, it doesn’t seem as if it’ll be one that can be wrapped up in a little box. Seems like there’s a good chance he’ll tell the happy couple that they don’t have to worry about Gaines. The Moustache will take hold of this situation so his daughter can enjoy her honeymoon.

11. Victor Has Gaines

Victor will likely have Gaines locked up somewhere. This week’s Y&R preview video offers some insight into all this. Victor and Billy will have their typical confrontation scene where the Moustache threatens him and Abbott scoffs at it. With that said, a scene flashes to show Gaines locked up somewhere. Billy and Lily likely won’t want to publish an article about Ashland’s past really, for Victoria’s sake — but if Victor pushes Abbott’s buttons, he may decide to, just to spite Newman.

10. Lily and Billy Hightail It Back To Genoa City

For one reason or another, Billy and Lily will decide to head back home to Genoa City before the rest of the Newmans do. They’ll bid adieu to Tuscany, and head back to town. Billy tells Lily in the Y&R weekly preview that the “best defense is a massive offense”. He also believes that “they” (a.k.a. Victor and Adam) are coming “after them”. Will these two decide to jump on the Gaines story after all?

9. Newman Media Adds A Twist

A story can be told in multiple ways it all depends on the storyteller! Victor must know that he can’t keep Billy and Lily from publishing something if they have the information (and proof) to write an article. Could Newman Media decide to publish something that makes Gaines look evil, while presenting Ashland as the hero?

8. Nick’s Confrontations

Sounds like Nick will have a couple of heated confrontations in Tuscany during the week of October 18th. Y&R spoilers note that one confrontation will be with his dad, as the Moustache will likely read him the riot act over digging into Ashland’s past to ruin Vic’s wedding. So, who will be at the helm of the other face-off? Could it be Phyllis? Could Phyllis and Nick finally crack at the seams this week?

7. Jack’s Confession

Jack will confide in Phyllis this week. Could she and Nick break up, only for Jack to confess he’s a little happy about hearing it? He wouldn’t word it rudely; this is Jackie Abbott after all. However, he may say that he never thought the two were right for each other. He may note that Nick has never truly accepted Phyllis for the incredible woman she is. Nick may bash Phyllis for encouraging him to dig up Ashland’s past, seeing as how it brought conflict to his family, whereas Jack has always praised Phyllis when digging up dirt (for the greater good). A “Phick” breakup would be perfect for a “Phack” reunion.

6. Christine’s News

Christine will have some news for Abby by the end of the week. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that this will have to do with Chance. Abby’s husband will likely be proclaimed “missing in action”. It’ll be believed that he’s passed away during an explosion or fire of some sort. No body will be found, which will leave a window of opportunity for Chance to return at some point.

5. Genoa City Mourns

Abby will be devastated. Her entire world will be flipped upside down. Devon will likely step up and decide to be there for his friend. However, it sounds like the rest of Genoa City will mourn as well. Rey and Kevin will “commiserate” together during the week of October 25th. They both worked with Chance, so it’s natural for these colleagues to grieve together, too.

4. Mariah Will Worry About Dominic

Mariah is likely to worry about the baby in light of Chance’s passing. She’ll be obsessed with ensuring Dominic is okay during this time. She may also reach out to Abby and ask to move back in, so she can help with the baby. Mariah may even second-guess her decision to become a surrogate. She would never take back having Dominic, but now the child is left with only a mother and no father. She’ll realize that what she signed up for is far more than she realized.

3. A Warm Welcome For Tessa

Rewinding a bit, Mariah will have a warm welcome for Tessa when she returns from Tuscany. Despite their issues, the two will reconnect and Porter may also decide that it is time for them to become parents. Shortly after Tessa gives the green light, Genoa City will learn of Chance’s passing. Mariah will shift away from becoming a mom and focus on “being there” for Dominic and Abby. She may even tell Porter that they should wait on a baby for a bit, as Dominic may “need” her. This won’t sit well with Tessa.

2. The Noah Factor

Any fan can see that there’s some old chemistry evolving between Tessa and Noah. Mr. Newman is set to return to the land of Genoa City this week, for good/for now. There’s a chance that Noah and Tessa will have plenty of run-ins over the next two weeks. Will Noah become a thorn in the “Teriah” relationship? Absolutely!

1. Sally Won’t Give Up

Sally will continue to push the envelope with Adam over the coming weeks. Nothing will stop this determined redhead when it comes to snagging her Mr. Right (Now). As much as Adam tries to push her away, he won’t be able to resist her for too long. Will these two cross a line sometime soon? Chelsea is likely to return in November (sweeps month). There’s a good chance Sally and Adam will become a bonafide couple before then.
